As we continue to develop our product and integration infrastructure, we are looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team.

About the Role

As a Junior Full-Stack Developer at PRIVON, you will contribute to the development of our web applications, backend services, APIs, and hospitality technology integrations.

You will work closely with our existing Full-Stack Developer, product designers, and founding team to build reliable, scalable, and user-focused product experiences.

This role is suitable for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to gain hands-on experience across the full product development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work on real-world systems involving membership management, restaurant and hotel reservations, third-party API integrations, caching, event-driven processes, and modern web applications.

The position is based in Istanbul and follows an on-site or hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and improve backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET

- Contribute to frontend development using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript

- Work with PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core using a Code First approach

- Integrate third-party restaurant, hotel, reservation, and hospitality APIs

- Build reliable data flows for availability, reservations, membership, and user-related operations

- Implement caching strategies using Redis

- Support containerised application development using Docker

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions

- Collaborate with product designers to translate Figma designs into responsive and functional interfaces

- Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues

- Contribute to application performance, reliability, security, and scalability

- Maintain clear technical documentation

- Use Git effectively within a collaborative software development workflow

- Learn and apply new technologies as the product and engineering infrastructure evolve

Required Backend Skills

- Experience with or strong practical knowledge of C# and .NET 8 or later

- Experience developing RESTful APIs

- Knowledge of Entity Framework Core and the Code First approach

- Experience with PostgreSQL or a similar relational database

- Understanding of relational data modelling, database relationships, and migrations

- Familiarity with Redis or similar caching technologies

- Familiarity with Docker and container-based development

- Experience using Git for version control

- Basic understanding of authentication, authorisation, validation, and API security

- Ability to debug backend services and investigate application errors

Required Frontend Skills

- Experience developing applications with React.js

- Experience working with Next.js projects

- Good knowledge of modern JavaScript, including ES6+

- Working knowledge of TypeScript

- Experience building responsive user interfaces

- Understanding of component-based frontend development

- Familiarity with consuming and managing data from RESTful APIs

- Attention to visual detail, usability, and consistency

- Ability to translate product designs into functional web interfaces

Preferred Technologies and Experience

Experience with the following technologies and architectural approaches would be considered an advantage:

- CQRS and MediatR

- RabbitMQ or similar message broker systems

- MassTransit

- YARP API Gateway

- Microservices architecture

- Event-driven architecture

- MinIO or S3-compatible file storage systems

- Serilog or similar structured logging tools

- CI/CD pipelines

- Unit and integration testing

- Background jobs and asynchronous processing

- API documentation using Swagger or OpenAPI

- Monitoring, observability, and error-tracking tools

- Cloud deployment and infrastructure concepts
