What You’ll Do
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously (:9 active + 1–2 small incoming)
- Build and maintain web applications using .NET (backend-heavy, fullstack expected)
- Write SQL Server queries; optimize at both database and application layer
- Work within a microservices architecture; understand system structure and component interactions
- Write unit tests consistently mandatory, code coverage 80%+
- Collaborate daily with the Sydney (Australia) team on project handovers and ongoing development
- Occasionally collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., Phoenix, satellite teams)
- Minimum 3 years in software development with good English communication skills
- .NET: Core tech stack; expected as baseline technical foundation for the role
- SQL Server / database optimization Able to write and optimize queries on large/production datasets
- Application layer optimization Able to think about and implement performance improvements at the application level, not just get features working
- System design thinking Able to look at a system diagram, explain what each component does, why it exists, and how to improve it; must apply concepts in real context, not just recite theory
- Frontend (Angular) Team is fullstack (70% BE / 30% FE); candidate must have frontend foundation and willingness to cover FE when needed; prior FE experience preferred over purely backend profiles
- Ho Chi Minh City (Ree Tower, Xom Chieu Ward): Vietnam business hours (8 am – 5 pm). Hybrid set up with 2 days/week in the office
