JOB OPPORTUNITY - IMMEDIATE HIRING/ INTERVIEW

Role: Azure API Center Developer

Location: Columbus, OH – onsite

NOTE: STRICTLY W2

Mandatory Skills

10+ years of experience

• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) designing, securing, and managing APIs.

• Practical experience setting up and using Azure API Center (API cataloging, governance, lifecycle visibility).

• Strong ability to implement APIM policies: authentication, authorization, rate limiting, caching, transformations, and error handling.

• Proficiency with Terraform for APIM/API Center infrastructure and configuration automation.

• Experience with CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions (or Azure DevOps pipelines) for API deployments.

• Strong API lifecycle management skills, including design using OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Experience integrating APIM/API Center with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Key Vault).

• Understanding of API security standards including OAuth2, Azure AD, JWT validation, and mTLS.

• Experience with monitoring and performance tuning using Application Insights.

• Production experience managing and troubleshooting APIM and API Center environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise API governance patterns.

• Working knowledge of Azure ApiOps workflows.

• Experience with developer portals and API productisation.

• Familiarity with network security for API workloads (private endpoints, firewalls, VNET integration).

• Knowledge of event-driven or distributed architectures.

• Experience writing runbooks, design documents, and API governance documentation.
