Intermediate Full-Stack Engineer - Remote

This roleAs a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be working with our Engineering team and will be instrumental in building highly scalable and robust features in our HR Product.
Working hours: This role requires availability across UK business hours, Monday-Friday
Your key focus areas will be:

• 
  End-to-End Feature Ownership: Taking complete ownership of features within your squad, driving them seamlessly from initial scoping to deployment.
  
• 
  Domain & Stack Adaptability: Rapidly mastering new tools, technologies, and the complex subject domains that compose our HR product.
  
• 
  Quality & Process Excellence: Maintaining high code quality and security standards while driving continuous improvements to our development processes.
  

This will include:

• 
  Full-Stack Development: Designing, scoping, and implementing end-to-end full-stack features for new and existing SaaS applications.
  
• 
  SaaS Ecosystem Navigation: Diving deep into different areas of a complex SaaS product and quickly picking up new tools, technologies, and functional domains.
  
• 
  Code Quality & Testing: Testing and performing root-cause analysis on your code to ensure you own the ultimate quality, reliability, and security of what you create.
  
• 
  System & Process Optimization: Proactively identifying application pain points, suggesting mitigation strategies, and recommending improvements to our overall development processes.
  
• 
  Collaborative Peer Reviews: Performing constructive peer reviews of code changes to help maintain high engineering standards across the team.
  
• 
  Documentation: Maintaining accurate technical documentation and help articles for all new and updated product features.

  Ruby on Rails Expertise: Excellent hands-on experience developing and scaling applications with Ruby on Rails.

  Frontend Proficiency: Experience working with modern frontend technologies such as React.js or Angular.

  Collaborative Problem Solving: A proven ability to take abstract business problems and drive team collaboration to find optimal technical solutions.
