Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and delivering software that drives real business value. In this role, you'll help shape the architecture and technical direction of critical applications while collaborating closely with product, business, and engineering teams. Our engineers are empowered to own the full lifecycle of the solutions they create—from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization. What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications and platform services
• Collaborate with architects, product leaders, and engineering teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
• Drive technical planning activities including solution design, effort estimation, and delivery execution
• Build and maintain distributed systems leveraging microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures
• Develop clean, maintainable, and secure code with an emphasis on performance and long-term sustainability
• Support critical business capabilities across areas such as customer engagement, fulfillment, logistics, and operational workflows
• Assess technical tradeoffs and make recommendations that balance scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural consistency
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical guidance to fellow developers
• Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture
• Diagnose and resolve complex application and production issues
• Participate in operational support activities, including incident response and on-call responsibilities
• Investigate root causes of system issues and implement preventative improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, development processes, and deployment efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting business-critical software applications
• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives or serving as a senior contributor on large-scale projects
• Strong expertise with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Experience building highly integrated, multi-tier enterprise applications
• Hands-on experience with microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven design principles
• Familiarity with Kafka or comparable messaging and event-streaming technologies
• Strong database development skills, including SQL and relational database design
• Experience implementing secure development practices and application security standards
• Knowledge of automated testing approaches, including unit testing and test-driven development
• Experience developing and deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and modern software delivery methodologies
• Exposure to open-source frameworks, developer productivity tools, and AI-assisted development technologies
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid software delivery environments
