This role is a hands-on project delivery leader responsible for executing capital engineering projects across manufacturing, packaging, and infrastructure. The Director will own end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery of high-quality results on time, on budget, and with a strong on-site presence across company-owned and co-manufacturing facilities.
The position requires simultaneous management of multiple complex projects, driving urgency, accountability, and results across all phases of execution - from concept development through commissioning and stabilization.
Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing OEMs and integrators, and ensuring successful deployment of technical solutions that improve capability, capacity, and system performance across the network.
This role requires a significant amount of travel (60-80%). Therefore, the preference is to have the incumbent reside near major airports in Dallas, TX, St.Louis, MO or Chicago, IL.
What You'll Do for Us
- Lead full lifecycle project execution from concept, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup through operational handoff
- Drive on-site project leadership, ensuring strong field presence during critical installation, commissioning, and ramp-up phases
- Manage multiple concurrent capital projects, balancing priorities, resources, and timelines across a dynamic network
- Instill a high sense of urgency and accountability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting technical performance requirements
- Develop and control project scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues quickly
- Lead cross-functional execution teams (engineering, quality, operations, OEMs) to ensure alignment and rapid decision-making
- Own project governance and reporting, providing clear visibility on status, risks, and mitigation actions
- Ensure strong on-site execution standards, including contractor management, safety, installation quality, and commissioning readiness
- Drive rapid problem-solving and escalation management to maintain momentum during project execution
- Deliver operational readiness, ensuring successful startup, performance validation, and handoff to plant teams
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in a related food and beverage field
- Advanced demonstrated Project Management skills (PMP certification preferred)
- Top skillsets required are Microsoft Applications, Project Management tools, & AutoCAD
- Deep understanding of liquid processing systems and packaging equipment
- Thorough understanding of Capital/Expense budgeting with planned project cash flow and financial project analysis as well as total capital project execution.
- Travel requirements - 60% to 80%, primarily at producing locations.

United States of America: 149,000 USD - 173,000 USD
