Mid-Level SQL/.NET Developer - St. Louis, MO

We are seeking a Mid-Level .NET / SQL Developer to join our development team supporting enterprise applications and strategic initiatives. This role is heavily focused on SQL development (approximately 75%) with the remaining 25% dedicated to .NET development. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient developer who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp-up time while partnering closely with the Lead Developer on new development efforts.

This position does not involve front-end development and is best suited for someone with a strong back-end development background.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications with a primary focus on SQL development.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Support .NET application development and maintenance for backend services.
• Partner with the Lead Developer as they transition into a more architectural role.
• Build integrations with existing systems by consuming and interacting with APIs.
• Participate in technical design discussions and recommend improvements to application performance and database design.
• Develop scalable, maintainable solutions with minimal supervision.
• Support ongoing automation initiatives and enhancements to internal business applications.

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (exceptional candidates with slightly less experience may be considered).
• Strong SQL development skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing applications using the .NET framework and C#.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and quickly become productive.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
