Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Domain needs: Banking/finance experience is important; mortgage experience is a plus.
  • Servicing and underwriting context is especially relevant, though candidates will likely work on specific modules rather than the full end-to-end mortgage lifecycle.
  • 2+ years of hands-on development experience is required

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Front-end skills: Angular is preferred, but React is acceptable; candidates with either should be considered if they can transition quickly.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
  • Core work: Developers will support a .NET UI application within the home mortgage space. The application helps support customers in retaining/owning property and avoiding foreclosure by providing key mortgage-related information.
  • Technical focus: Full stack .NET development with emphasis on UI, .NET Core, ASP.NET, API development, and web application work. The expected balance is approximately 70% front end/UI and 30% backend.
  • Testing/automation: Developers are expected to participate across the SDLC, including testing. Playwright experience is a plus, especially for automation testing.
