Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Developer with exceptional troubleshooting skills to join our development team. This role combines hands-on development with critical support responsibilities, requiring someone who thrives in solving complex technical challenges and maintaining production systems. This high impact position is an important contributor to the development, availability, security and ongoing maintenance of See’s E-commerce Applications. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $122,000k- $132,000per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops enhancements and new application functions to achieve business goals, based on roadmap objectives, high level descriptions and collaboration with E-commerce team members and other cross-functional partners.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive understanding of the business processes that drive E-Commerce order management, order fulfillment and customer service application development.
- Provides application support including technical problem resolution, bug fixes and after-hours support.
- Understands and adheres to See’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process as described in See’s Information Security Policies and Procedures manual.
- Debugs and unit tests all work prior to peer code review and user acceptance testing.
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of common security vulnerabilities; develops applications based on secure coding techniques ensuring secure operation.

- Participate in identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness.
- Participate in person 3 days a week on a hybrid schedule.
- Over 5+ years of experience developing server-side application logic with languages such as Node.js, Python or ColdFusion.
- Over 5+ years of experience developing applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex application issues across the full technology stack including the ability to determine root cause and resolution
- Experience with system integrations and client applications consuming JSON through APIs
- Experience with relational databases, and a level of comfort with reading and writing simple to complex SQL queries
- Collaborate with DevOps to investigate infrastructure-related issues
- Experience with high availability production environments
- Experience with E-Commerce order management preferred
- Proven capabilities in multi-tasking, strong decision making, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Highly organized, deadline-driven individual with a “can do” attitude
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner
- A passion for creating high-quality software and user experiences
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Git source control, Jira
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with AI assisted development tools such as Claude Code is a plus
