.NET Developer (final round in person at Charlotte, NC)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in Angular and exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies to join a high-performing development team supporting enterprise applications for a leading financial client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable web applications using Microsoft technologies, developing modern Angular front-end applications, and integrating AI-powered capabilities into enterprise solutions.

This is a hybrid opportunity requiring candidates to work 3 days per week onsite in Charlotte, NC.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8 and C#.Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular (12+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.Integrate AI/Generative AI services such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Copilot, or similar AI platforms into business applications.Implement AI-powered features including intelligent search, document summarization, chatbot integration, and workflow automation.Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the SDLC.Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in .NET application development.
• Strong experience with C#, Core, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (12+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with SQL Server and database design.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version control tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• AI / Generative AI Experience (Preferred)
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, or other AI services.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted application development.
• Familiarity with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, or chatbot development.
• Experience using AI APIs within enterprise applications.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices and model integration.
