Role Overview
We are seeking an Azure Integration Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role involves end-to-end ownership of integration interfaces, from requirements gathering through production deployment. The ideal candidate has approximately five years of experience with Azure Integration Services, a command of API and messaging patterns, and the ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integration interfaces using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
- Build and manage APIs in Azure API Management, including policies, OAuth2 authentication, and versioning.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Owners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps with YAML and ARM/Bicep templates.
- Perform data transformations between JSON, XML, and other formats using XSLT and custom mapping logic.
- Monitor and support integration solutions in production using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Produce architecture diagrams, sequence flows, and technical documentation.
- Participate in UAT, support QA teams, and assist with production deployments.
- Work within Agile sprint cycles, providing estimates and communicating status to project managers.
Technical Skills:
- Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps (Standard), Functions, and API Management.
- Azure Service Bus: Queues, topics, subscriptions, and messaging pattern implementation.
- Azure DevOps: CI/CD pipeline authoring (YAML, ARM templates).
- Azure Monitoring: Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor.
- Development: C# and .NET Core (3.1+).
- API Design: RESTful API design and consumption; JSON and XML data formats.
- Data Transformation: XSLT.
- Database: SQL Server for stored procedures, queries, and data debugging.
- Source Control: GitHub or Azure Repos.
- Experience migrating from legacy platforms (BizTalk, MuleSoft) to Azure Integration Services.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Databricks for data ingestion pipelines.
- Microsoft Azure Developer Associate certification (AZ-204).
- Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, HIPAA, HL7) or ERP integrations (Dynamics 365, SAP).
- Experience with Azure Front Door, VNet integration, or private endpoint configuration.
