Your Responsibilities
- Build, and maintain high‑quality, scalable systems that align with enterprise engineering standards.
- Ensure data solution designs adhere to CI/CD, governance, quality, and security best practices.
- Work with experienced engineers to uplift current platform and introduce new products.
- Support accelerated delivery by implementing automation, standardised configuration management, and streamlined execution across environments.
- Become a subject matter expert in .NET engineering tools, frameworks, and practices.
- Collaborate with the product team to support business vision.
- Build and embed automated testing and validation.
- Support the development of logging, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Solid experience building service-based applications in C# (or equivalent OO language e.g. Java or typed Python)
- Solid experience with REST-based service hosting framework (e.g. in ASP.NET, SpringBoot)
- Solid understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques.
- Good understanding of relational databases and SQL (preferably SQL Server)
- Experience with an ORM framework (EF Core, Dapper, Hibernate, etc...)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a high-functioning team, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Understanding of devops concepts and tooling.
- Demonstrated strong communication, facilitation and analysis skills
- Understanding of automation testing and unit testing concepts and frameworks.
- Working knowledge xunit.
- Markets Experience
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of and experience with a CICD platform, pipelines, and tooling (Gitlab, Altassian suite, etc...)
- Prior experience working in cloud‑native engineering environments, ideally AWS.
