Job Summary
Sr. Manager- Financial reporting & Technical accounting would be responsible for financial assistance for all the International Entities (20+ and growing) of UKG spread across APAC, EMEA and North America. This position will be based out of UKG's Noida office in India and will report to the Director - Finance who is also based out of same office. Further, this position will operate during 11:30am IST to 8:30pm IST.
How You Can Be the Impact
Following will be the key deliverables:
• Review of standalone financial statements for approx. 20 Intl entities in EMEA and APAC region (including India) and highlight any major deviation/inconsistency to the management beforehand ensuring no surprise culture.
• Collaborate with Corporate Teams & External consultants for preparation & filing of Company Financials & other compliances.
• Facilitation of Audits for all international entities and arranging all the inputs required by auditors with the help of global finance teams spread across various countries.
• Ensuring strong relationship with the statutory auditors and the group auditors for the purpose of finalization of statutory audit within stringent timelines, ensuring clean audit reports, negotiation of fees etc.
• Preparing technical accounting memos, providing guidance to the global finance team on accounting and conducting knowledge sessions.
• Releasing Periodic dashboards to the senior management apprising about the audit progress, challenges, and any technical matter.
• Drive the internal control and ICFR/Sox audit of the assigned entities.
• Hands-on experience of Transfer Pricing laws and its implications across global entities
• Understand the complex and fast-changing regulatory landscape, take the lead to ensure the regulatory and new compliances are well taken care of.
• Lead the process to provide quality assurance for the financials of the entities along with Providing financial advisory to the leadership.
• Help drive process improvement initiatives by applying strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Participate in process automation ideas & AI/BOT implementation by suggesting efficient methodologies and collaborate with respective team for successful implementation.
• Manage the performance of the financial reporting & Technical accounting team, manage necessary coaching and trainings to develop the team
• Dynamic leader who can recruit, develop and retain a healthy talent pool.
• To be the finance business partner to Global finance leadership teams and support corporate controller based out of US.
• To provide governance and controllership assurance to the business.
Qualifications/Skillset Required
• CA/CPA with minimum 12-15 years of financial reporting experience for International locations in EMEA & APAC including India.
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP and Local STAT GAAP (IFRS, Local GAAPs & IND AS).
• Hands-on experience of General Ledger accounting in Microsoft Dynamics D365 framework is preferred.
• Strong understanding of tax compliances like Transfer Pricing etc.
• Well versed with the other related compliances prevalent (FEMA, MCA etc).
• Highly skilled in communication, developing & mentoring direct and indirect teams.
• Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual
• Tech Savvy with AI knowledge experience is plus.
• Prior experience working with a US multinational company would be an added advantage.
