Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Brink Point-of-Sale (POS) software development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with/leading an engineering team and experience mentoring less experienced members of the team.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of development experience using C# .Net and working with teams to build/support highly available web applications
• Extensive experience working with multiple database systems
• Experience working with cloud computing platforms
• Ability to analyze and debug new and existing codebases
• Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills
• Passionate about building next-generation technologies, enjoys fast-paced environments, and loves to code
• Leveraged AI coding assistants to accelerate development workflows and improving code review throughput across the team

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

• Design and implement solutions based on the requirements, that are easily maintainable, deeply tested, and well thought out with clean coding practices
• Act in a lead role for tasks and projects, perform peer design and code reviews, and assist in the growth of team members through mentorship
• Identify and propose architecture and design optimizations, as well as potential feature adds and changes to enhance the product
• Maintain highly cohesive and collaborative relationships with other members of the team
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality concerning PAR’s and customer’s information

Compensation Range: CA$115K - CA$140K
