PHP/Frontend Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced PHP/Frontend Developer with a strong command of React and modern JavaScript to join our team. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building backend services in PHP/Laravel and crafting polished, performant frontend interfaces in React. You will play a key role in designing and delivering full-featured platform experiences, from API integrations on the backend to responsive, intuitive UIs on the frontend.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to both backend and frontend layers.
• Design and implement backend services and admin features using PHP (or Laravel where required).
• Build and maintain responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces using React and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
• Work with NoSQL for schema design, queries, and performance optimization.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control across both layers.
• Ensure code follows best practices for security, maintainability, scalability, and accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with product stakeholders and designers to deliver high-quality, user-focused features.
• Write clean, well-structured, and documented code on both frontend and backend.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience with PHP development.
• Strong expertise in the Laravel framework (latest stable versions).
• Solid hands-on experience with React and JavaScript (ES6+), including component architecture and state management.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (schema design, queries, optimization).
• Proficiency with RESTful API consumption and integration.
• Strong understanding of backend and frontend application architecture and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid grasp of secure coding practices and role-based access control.

Good to Have:

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks or UI libraries (e.g., Tailwind, Material UI).
• Experience with deployment on AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to migrating or modernizing legacy PHP applications.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools.
