About The JobThe Developer works with system owners to understand the business requirements of a system and can use various technologies to develop the supporting infrastructure and user interfaces. This can involve working with data from a variety of sources and developing the most efficient methods to manage data flow. The Developer communicates with both internal and external clients during all phases of system development, working within agreed upon budget and timelines. The Developer is proficient with industry best practices for processes and development technologies.
What You'll Do
- Work with system owners to develop requirements and transform into a usable system within the systems development life cycle (SDLC) framework
- Prepare workbooks, dashboards, charts, and graphs using Tableau and Microsoft SSRS
- Development work in systems such as Medidata suite, SharePoint, and Intacct
- Work with and support other developers to create and implement best practices for processes and systems; provide leadership to other developers
- Communicate results within the organization and to clients
- Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain appropriate project documentation
- Perform, track, and manage related project work as assigned
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to address
- Adhere to requirements of 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (e.g. Information Systems or Data Analytics), or equivalent experience
- 2 years industry experience in related field
- Experience with Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSRS, SQL, and Visual Studio
- Knowledge of ETL processes and related software
- Knowledge of databases, warehouses, business intelligence systems, and data analysis tools
- Proven analytic skills and ability to quickly and accurately analyze data
- Demonstrated problem solving and judgment capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to operate in team environment
