As a Full-Stack Engineer at Tax Desk, you will be a key contributor to the development and evolution of our core platform. Working closely alongside the Engineering Lead, you will help build and maintain our modern .NET, React, and Azure stack. This is an ideal role for a developer who has mastered the fundamentals and is ready to take on more complex challenges while maintaining high standards for clean, scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Build and ship robust, end-to-end features using C#/.NET and React.
• Code Excellence: Write clean, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews to ensure consistency and quality across the codebase.
• Collaboration: Work with the Engineering Lead to translate business initiatives into actionable technical tasks and provide accurate estimates for delivery.
• Cloud Support: Assist in managing and deploying cloud resources within our Azure environment to ensure platform performance and security.
• Best Practices: Adopt and champion modern development best practices, including CI/CD and design patterns.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Proficiency: 2–6 years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong hands-on experience in C# / .NET Core and React.
• Cloud Familiarity: Practical experience working within the Azure ecosystem (e.g., App Services, SQL Database).
• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic coding practices
• Growth Orientation: A proactive learner who thrives in an environment of excellence and is eager to be mentored by senior technical leadership.
• Communication: Ability to communicate technical progress clearly and collaborate effectively within an agile team.

Bonus Points for...

• Experience in the FinTech or TaxTech industry.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Understanding of microservices or event-driven architecture.
