Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

This is role is in Boston 3x per week

12+ Month Contract with Possible Extension (DeWinter will hire full-time if desired)

The Engineer will help build reliable, scalable systems that automate business processes, integrate data, and deliver timely information to business partners.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a desire to learn financial

operations, and an interest in modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted

development using tools such as Claude Code.

Responsibilities

 Develop, enhance, and support applications related to Client Billing, Commissions, Cash

Flows, and Participant Rebate Calculations.

 Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and data pipelines across SQL Server, Snowflake, and

external systems.

 Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to improve

productivity and code quality.

 Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure system accuracy and reliability.

 Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to deliver business solutions.

 Participate in code reviews, testing, sprint planning, and continuous improvement

initiatives.

Qualifications

 Working knowledge of C#/.NET and SQL.

 Familiarity with APIs, cloud technologies, and modern development practices.

 Experience or interest in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub

Copilot, or similar.

 Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 Eagerness to learn financial systems and business processes.
