Senior Backend Engineer - C#/.NET | AI SaaS Platform - Fully remote, Germany

We're working with a SaaS organisation that is building privacy-first AI infrastructure for enterprise clients across Europe. Compliance is at the core of their product - a genuinely differentiated position in a crowded market.

The team is lean, senior, and moving fast. You'll see the direct impact of your work from day one.

What you'll be working on

• Owning architecture decisions and the technical evolution of the backend stack
• Designing and operating scalable, secure, and resilient services and APIs
• Handling complex database and integration challenges, including data modelling and migration strategies
• Shaping new features in close collaboration with product and stakeholders
• Reviewing code and mentoring other developers in the team

What they're looking for

• 4+ years of C#/.NET development experience
• Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems and data modelling
• Experience with CI/CD and Docker-based deployment
• B2 German and Fluent English
• High ownership mentality when working with ambiguous or complex requirements

Nice to have

• Experience in technical mentoring or team leadership
• Hands-on experience with coding agents or a genuine curiosity towards AI-assisted development

What's on offer

• €70,000 - €85,000 depending on experience
• Fully remote from anywhere in Germany
