About The Role
As the Lead .NET Developer for Veeam Backup for Office 365, you’ll drive backend feature delivery and lead a team of engineers through day-to-day execution, code reviews, and technical decision-making. Partnering closely with Product Management and stakeholders, you’ll refine requirements, estimate scope and capacity, and cultivate a high-performing, learning-focused team culture.
What You'll Do
- Supervise the team’s day-to-day operations
- Analyze and establish business requirements in collaboration with the product management team
- Develop new product features, currently focusing on backend
- Estimate the efforts required for feature implementation, including costs and capacity
- Develop your hard and soft skills together with the team
- Make technical decisions
- Lead and involve others into code reviews
- Ensure work atmosphere inside of the team, team members learning and motivation
- Communicate with the project’s stakeholders
- Establish and review communication and processes inside of the team: prepare and perform regular meetings, planning, daily, retro
- Latest C# (and a bit of C++, C++CLI), REST, PowerShell
- .NET 8
- Visual Studio 2022, Rider
- Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity
- Azure, Office 365, Amazon, Google
- Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, PostgreSQL
- 5+ years of software development in commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of C#, .Net, Win API, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience as a team leader in a group of 4-5 developers
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, self-control and responsibility
- Result-oriented, proactive approach
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Technical mindset with great attention to details
- Good communication skills
- English proficiency level sufficient to communicate with international teams
