UI Developer (World of Tanks Console)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a talented UI Developer to join the World of Tanks Modern Armor team in Belgrade. You'll build high-quality UI systems, transform UX designs into seamless in-game experiences, and develop scalable frontend solutions that delight millions of players around the world.

Reports to

Development Director

What will you do?

• Translates UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality frontend systems that match intended user experience
• Identifies, analyses and resolves issues in UI systems, including rendering artifacts, input handling problems, cross-platform incompatibility
• Collaborates with UX designers and engineers from game and engine teams
• Owns UI component libraries, UI systems and frameworks
• Evaluates requirements and designs for alignment with performance targets, technical feasibility and integration with owned systems
• Owns systems in production, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability
• Writes clean, efficient code that follows project coding standards
• Designs, builds, and maintains systems and services
• Optimizes systems for performance, scalability, and stability
• Participates in code reviews and collaborates on technical decisions
• Documents architectures, APIs, and systems so they can be understood, extended, and maintained

What are we looking for?

• Experience in UI development, Web Frontend in game development
• Programming skills in any of the scripting languages
• Intermediate English - B2 or higher

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Own game projects with UI development part
• Experience with OOP languages
• Experience with AS3 development
• Experience with Adobe Animate
• Knowledge of Python or LUA

Work mode

• Hybrid (3 days of work from the office)
• This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.
