.NET Developer (mid-level)

Responsibilities

• Develop new applications, modify and maintain existing cloud-native solutions, working closely with end-users, IT peers and management.
• Make changes to prevent recurrence, modifying existing code and faulty files, writing and running special programs.
• Troubleshot, debug, and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application monitoring.
• Document the new applications, or the changes made to existing applications.
• Participate in unit, integration, and business acceptance testing of the applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Estimate development effort, contribute to technical discussions, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Do whatever is necessary to get to your team's definition of done.
• Stay current on emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field - Preferred
• 2+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET
• Hands-on experience with Azure Function, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage, building scalable, event-driven applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ preferred.
• Be able to describe the above in a logical software stack.
• Understanding of unit testing concepts and frameworks preferred.
• Ability to be self-directed. Strong problem- solving and communication skills.
• Familiar with an Agile environment.
• Familiar with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participation and familiarity with open source projects is a plus.
