Responsibilities
- Develop new applications, modify and maintain existing cloud-native solutions, working closely with end-users, IT peers and management.
- Make changes to prevent recurrence, modifying existing code and faulty files, writing and running special programs.
- Troubleshot, debug, and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application monitoring.
- Document the new applications, or the changes made to existing applications.
- Participate in unit, integration, and business acceptance testing of the applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Estimate development effort, contribute to technical discussions, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Do whatever is necessary to get to your team's definition of done.
- Stay current on emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field - Preferred
- 2+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET
- Hands-on experience with Azure Function, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage, building scalable, event-driven applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ preferred.
- Be able to describe the above in a logical software stack.
- Understanding of unit testing concepts and frameworks preferred.
- Ability to be self-directed. Strong problem- solving and communication skills.
- Familiar with an Agile environment.
- Familiar with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participation and familiarity with open source projects is a plus.
