Senior SQL Server Developer (Position ID: 121SS)

This is a senior level role for a SQL developer with 5-10 years of relevant and hand-on experience. Salary is commensurate with experience

Requirements

Functional Requirements

• Build stored procedures that include complex queries for large enterprise -level databases, with the bulk of business logic contained within the databases. Ideally, this will include the ability to program dynamic SQL as well
• Build robust T-SQL test scripts to validate stored procedures are working as designed.
• Populate test environments with test data where necessary to enable unit and regression testing
• Work with CI/CD (continuous integration/ continuous deployment) automation software (Azure environments)
• Work alongside executive leadership, project managers, software engineers/architects, application developers (.Net) and end users to develop commercial, 100% cloud-based software
• Develop updates and improvement to existing production software using Agile/DevOps principles and processes
• Create documentation in support of stored procedures, scripts and internal processes

• B.S. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science from accredited university
• Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA): Database Fundamentals SQL Certification (Optional)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (Optional)
