Dotnet Developer

We are seeking a local, contract-to-hire experienced .NET Full Stack Developer to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications using the latest Microsoft technologies. This role will focus on developing scalable cloud-native solutions, modernizing legacy applications, and building new greenfield applications from the ground up. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean architecture, modern frontend development, cloud technologies, and leveraging AI to improve both software products and engineering productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C# and .NET 6/7/8.
• Lead application modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy applications to modern architectures.
• Build greenfield applications using best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular (v15+), TypeScript, Signals, and modern Angular patterns.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications within Microsoft Azure.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Azure AI services where appropriate.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET.
• Hands-on experience with .NET 6/7/8 in enterprise environments.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications or building greenfield solutions.
• Strong experience developing applications with Angular 15+, TypeScript, Signals, RxJS, and modern Angular architecture.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, dependency injection, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure DevOps
• Azure Functions
• Azure Storage
• Azure API Management
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry or other Azure AI services.
• Production experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.
• Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI orchestration, or AI agents.
• Hands-on experience using AI development assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Familiarity with observability, application monitoring, and cloud security best practices.
