A well-established global technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its software engineering organization developing next-generation cloud applications that support connected devices, IoT platforms, and large-scale enterprise systems.
This is an opportunity to work on highly scalable distributed applications using modern Microsoft technologies, cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, and microservices while helping mentor other engineers and influence technical direction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise software applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET
- Develop cloud-native applications deployed in Kubernetes environments
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive projects from design through deployment
- Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application reliability and performance
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Estimate development efforts and contribute to sprint planning
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and engineering processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Approximately 6-10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise developing applications with C# and .NET Core/.NET
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of web services and distributed application architecture
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience deploying applications in public cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
- Experience working with relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments
- Experience working in Agile software development teams
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:
