IT Support Specialist

You will be responsible for technical support of the Twin Harbour office but also support the global Group IT team on larger projects and security initiatives.
You are reporting to the IT Manager in Hamburg and be a part of the Hamburg IT team. The role is primarily onsite.
YOUR MISSION
- Resolve IT Support incidents and service requests, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Network Administration - manage relationships with local vendors, perform network updates, troubleshoot, and resolve local network issues
- User lifecycle management - provisioning/deprovisioning users and computers
- Asset Management: maintain inventory systems, order hardware, and provide software to new joiners
- Perform regular access audits
- Administering a wide variety of SaaS apps; provision/modify/remove access as needed
- Ordering/procuring equipment, maintaining vendor relationships, and inventory management for all IT hardware and software
- Participate in IT Team Projects & Security Initiatives
- Able to communicate effectively and concisely to the entire company
- Supporting global workforce, partnering with overseas IT teams
- Analyze existing processes, suggest and make improvements, and implement business processes where none exists
- You have a positive attitude and are always happy to help
- Background in IT with experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices
- Ability to administer Google Workspace, Slack and M365 for day-to-day operations
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (switching, firewalls, subnetting, wireless technologies, VPNs, LAN/WAN, etc.)
- Fluent in English. German is a plus.
