About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation project within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will participate in the design, development, and evolution of modern enterprise applications, working with the latest Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and microservices architecture.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building scalable, high-performance systems while collaborating within Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET.

* Develop and enhance microservices following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

* Design and implement REST APIs and gRPC services.

* Build scalable, secure, and high-performing backend solutions.

* Develop and optimize SQL Server databases and T-SQL queries.

* Work with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

* Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

* Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

* Contribute to code quality initiatives through automated testing, code reviews, and SonarQube.

* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps.

* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

* 5–7 years of professional experience in C#/.NET software development.

* Strong hands-on experience with .NET 6 and/or .NET 8.

* Familiarity with .NET 10 is considered an advantage.

* Solid experience designing and developing microservices.

* Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

* Strong experience with REST APIs and gRPC.

* Excellent knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.

* Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.

* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including:

  * API Management

  * App Services

  * Application Insights

  * Other Azure cloud services

* Experience using Azure DevOps, including repositories, pipelines, releases, and deployments.

* Familiarity with OpenShift or containerized application environments.

* Experience with unit testing, integration testing, SonarQube, and software quality best practices.

* Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

* Previous experience in digital banking platforms.

* Experience within the banking or financial services industry.

* Exposure to enterprise-scale, cloud-native application architectures.
