Global Markets Operation Technology (GMOT) provides technology solution and support to the GMO Business which is a division of Global Markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch covering Middle Office, Back Office operation function. Team Specific Structure and Responsibilities:

We are looking for an application developer whose role will be working on China Global Markets and Regulatory Reporting Applications for China Local Inc. project.

The role will provide the opportunity to develop the Global Markets and Regulatory Reporting Applications for Bank of America China. The role will also provide opportunity to interact with a variety of business & technology groups and provide a breadth of exposure to the Fixed Income business such as Bonds, Interest Rates, Money Markets, and other Derivatives products. Responsibilities

• Work closely with users, both multi-LOBs to understand user requirements and implement them
• Deliver high quality solutions based on business needs for a variety of business cases
• Work closely with local and global technology teams to implement solutions which meet local requirements Requirements Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline
• Degree in Technology related subject preferable Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of IT experience Essential Skills:
• Strong understanding of MS SQL Server, has experience on database design
• Hands on developer with DB development skills on MS SQL server with at least 3+ years of working experience: TSQL queries, stored procedures, views, etc
• Hands on developer with ASP.NET development skills at least 3+ years of working experience
• Strong understanding of MVC and n-tier design for BS/CS software architecture
• Experience in Java is a plus
• Scripting language preferably Python
• Understanding of Linux, shell script etc.
• Experience of the full lifecycle of software development and delivery, well versed with SDLC
• Ability to work closely with business groups and technology teams
• Ability to translate user requirements into working code
• Investment Banking Experience – Preferably Middle/Back Office Desired Skills:
• Candidate must be a strong team player with good communication skills
• Experience in application testing, including defining test cases and implementing test automation
