Scope of Project:

Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking a Web Developer to support the CRIS Redevelopment, Expansion and Implementation project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web-based applications and websites.

• Design and implement backend solutions using C# and .NET Core 10.

• Develop and optimize SQL Server 2022 database components.

• Build and integrate REST APIs and JSON-based services.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.

• Ensure adherence to State standards, organizational policies, and industry best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing web applications.

• Prepare technical documentation and support system implementation activities.

Required/Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 6 years of experience developing websites or web-based applications.

• Proficiency in C# programming language.

• Proficiency in .NET Core 10 development framework.

• Experience with SQL Server 2022 database management.

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

• Experience developing REST APIs and working with JSON data.

• Experience translating client requirements into technical requirements.

• Knowledge of software development best practices and standards.

Preferred:

• Experience with government agencies or public sector projects.

• Experience with enterprise-scale web application development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
