Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and internal business tools using .NET (C#) and related Microsoft technologies.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to support integration between manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, and web-based front ends.
• Write clean, well-documented SQL queries and stored procedures to manage and retrieve data from relational databases.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into functional software solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 0–8 years of professional or academic software development experience.
• Proficiency in .NET and C#. Including object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Working knowledge of SQL. Ability to write queries, joins, and stored procedures against relational databases.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment (internship, co-op, or full-time)
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, or similar cloud/DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Epicor, or similar).
• Exposure to IIoT devices, sensors, or networked manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC as they apply to software systems.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other regulated manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
