Construction Project Engineer Senior (18‑Months Temporary)

We are looking for a talented CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER SENIOR (18 - MONTH TEMPORARY) to join our team, specializing in FACILITIES for our CUMMINS FUEL SYSTEMS BUSINESS , located in CIUDAD JUÁREZ, CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO (Blvd. Juan Pablo II 1951, Cdad. Río Bravo, 32550 Juárez, Chih.).

This position is 100% on-site.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Design and construction of the cafeteria for the Juárez business unit
• Support construction project activities in Juárez
• Support internal Cummins administrative processes (purchase orders, HSE risk analysis)
• Prepare executive progress reports for leadership
• Manage design and construction of new kitchen equipment
• Oversee contractor performance on-site
• Main KPIs:
• Schedule compliance
• Schedule Performance Index (SPI)
• Cost Performance Index (CPI)
• Control of unplanned changes
• Safety incident rate
• Post-construction pending items closure
• Non-conformities

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Engineering

Experience :

At least 5 years of previous experience in industrial construction project management

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or Construction Engineering
• More than 5 years of experience in industrial construction project management
• Proven experience managing projects from design phase through delivery and post-construction
• Experience coordinating construction contractors, cost control, schedule tracking, and on-site decision-making
• Intermediate level in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Experience reviewing executive project documentation

• Intermediate conversational English
• Experience using Revit 3D
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical installations
• Experience with fire protection system installations
• Experience with construction permit processes in Juárez
