Generative AI & Data Engineer (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the team working on AI and data solutions. In this role, you will design, implement, and develop generative AI-based solutions that provide real customer insights and improve access to internal data. You will collaborate with global data teams, IT, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative AI products and applications that are secure and aligned with business priorities.

Your tasks

• Developing and maintaining applications and analytical solutions based on generative AI, including RAG using LLM and agent-based workflows
• Designing, building, and managing data pipelines with a focus on AI (e.g. Azure, Databricks, PySpark), including preprocessing of unstructured data
• Implementing monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for AI models (quality, cost, latency) and iteratively improving solutions
• Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders and translating requirements into technological solutions
• Ensuring solutions comply with regulations, data security, and Responsible AI principles
• Building dashboards and analytical tools supporting CX as well as developing documentation and work standards

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Data/AI or Machine Learning
• Strong knowledge of Python (including Pandas) and working with data (Databricks, PySpark)
• Experience building GenAI solutions (LLM, RAG, embeddings, vector search e.g. Azure AI Search)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and principles of building secure and scalable cloud solutions
• Previous experience with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence)
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Willingness to work from the Warsaw office - 3 days a week

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MLOps and SQL
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems via RESTful API and JSON
• Ability to use TypeScript and Node.js in the context of chatbot development for Microsoft Teams
• Communicative proficiency in German
