Key Responsibilities

AI & Data Strategy

• Build and scale enterprise AI and data science capabilities from 0 → 1, establishing a strong foundation of data platforms, governance, and AI adoption.
• Define and execute the AI roadmap aligned with PGP Glass’s business priorities (growth, cost optimization, sustainability).
• Drive enterprise-wide data-driven decision-making culture.

AI Monetization & Business Impact

• Drive AI-led value creation across:
• Pricing optimization
• Demand forecasting & revenue growth
• Manufacturing efficiency & yield improvement
• Supply chain optimization
• Identify and deploy high-impact use cases with measurable ROI.

Advanced Analytics & AI Solutions

• Design, develop, and deploy:
• Machine Learning models (predictive & prescriptive analytics)
• Generative AI applications (GenAI)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Computer vision solutions for quality inspection (glass manufacturing context)
• Build scalable, production-ready solutions using modern MLOps frameworks.

Data Engineering & Platform Development

• Collaborate with IT to design robust data pipelines, data lakes, and cloud-based AI platforms.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across systems.
• Implement best practices in model monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor a high-performing data science team.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration across:
• Manufacturing
• Supply Chain
• Commercial / Sales
• Finance & IT
• Partner with CXOs, business leaders, and external consulting firms to drive enterprise transformation.

Global Delivery & Collaboration

• Enable global delivery models, working with distributed teams and vendors.
• Drive collaboration across India and international business units.
