AI Engineer

We're building an AI operating system for insurance brokerages.

Our agents handle the full service stack: servicing, underwriting and QA. They're insurance specific focused on on carrier guidelines, appetite guides, and underwriting manuals, and wired directly into the systems brokers already run on. The goal: give every brokerage the capacity of a team twice its size, without adding headcount.

We're hiring an AI Engineer to own how our agents reason over insurance language, navigate real brokerage workflows, and ship to production every week. You'll work directly with the founders.

What you'll do

• Build and fine-tune agents that handle real insurance workflows: quotes, servicing, endorsements, intake, and triage
• Develop retrieval and reasoning systems over SOPs, appetite guides, and underwriting bulletins
• Build and maintain evaluation pipelines so our agents stay accurate, reliable, and safe in a regulated environment
• Ship new features to production every week and own the quality of what customers experience, from internal tools to customer-facing channels like iMessage and RCS
• Work directly with large brokerages to turn messy real-world problems into deployable workflows

Who you are

• Deep familiarity with LLMs, retrieval, agent frameworks, and evaluation
• Strong Python skills, comfortable with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar
• You ship fast and care about what lands in production, not just what works in a notebook
• Interested in solving hard problems in regulated industries (insurance experience is a plus, not a requirement)
• Comfortable working and shipping with AI tools
