Job Summary
This role is responsible for researching and developing innovative on-device agentic AI systems that deliver personalized services. Agentic AI naturally follows a heterogeneous architecture, designed to handle tasks of varying complexity across different modalities. You will contribute to building on-device small language and multimodal models tailored for agentic AI, enabling intelligent assistance with a deep understanding of user context.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop algorithms that understand user behaviors and multimodal contextual signals to enable intelligent, personalized, and context-aware assistance.
- Research and develop advanced multimodal and small language models tailored for on-device deployment, ensuring efficiency, low latency, and contextual relevance.
- Design and implement heterogeneous system architectures for on-device agentic AI, supporting intelligent memory, continual learning, and personalization.
- Establish technical influence by presenting research findings and proprietary technologies at world-class AI conferences.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- Mandatory experience with modern machine learning frameworks, including PyTorch..
- Proven expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Vision Models (LVM), with a focus on information extraction, LLM/LVM prompt engineering, and fine-tuning strategies
- Experience with on-device AI and lightweight model development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Prolific record of high-impact publication in top-tier AI conferences including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL (main), and EMNLP (main), or a proven track record in industrial R&D.
- Deep architectural understanding and research experience with LLMs and LVMs that goes beyond basic prompting and inference (e.g., structural optimization, custom layer design, or fundamental algorithmic improvements).
- Experience with advanced machine learning techniques such as Reinforcement Learning (RL), Memory Network, Reasoning
- Software development experience in mobile or embedded environments.
- Proficiency in large-scale data processing and distributed analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
