What You'll Be Doing
- Creating prototypes and proof of concepts, iterating these into fully working solutions in close collaboration with lawyers – and designing AI-enabled workflows to support process standardisation and continuous improvement across legal teams.
- Assessing and evaluating the quality and accuracy of AI-generated outputs against the firm's governance standards, whilst analysing new and emerging technologies – with a particular focus on AI tools, platforms and frameworks relevant to the legal sector.
- Creating templates and reusable assets to improve standards and speed of delivery, collaborating with the Data team on MI requirements, and producing functional and technical documentation – including workflow maps and portal build guides – to improve the maintainability and usability of the firm's digital platforms.
- Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, with the ability to design and build AI-enabled solutions, strong prompt engineering skills, and a methodical approach to evaluating the quality and accuracy of AI-generated outputs to ensure they are fit for purpose in a legal context.
- The ability to design logical, user-friendly digital workflows and automated processes with conditional logic, combined with a systems-thinking mindset that can break down complex problems into smaller, manageable components.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills, excellent communication and a genuine enthusiasm for new technology – particularly artificial intelligence – alongside a collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
