What you would do
As an AI Tools Associate, your work helps ensure our analytical process remains both precise and thorough. You will support the consultants who spend their days rebuilding complex financial and operational models. This is an entry level role focused on the practical application of language models and data tools within our specific workflow. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Designing and testing prompts to help extract specific data points from large sets of unorganized business documents.
• Auditing the output of AI tools against actual ledger data to ensure total accuracy before information is used in a model.
• Building and maintaining small, internal scripts that help automate the repetitive parts of data cleaning and file preparation.
• Maintaining a library of successful technical approaches for different types of business artifacts, such as pricing grids or diligence files.
• Assisting the team in document comparison, identifying discrepancies between different versions of a business plan or contract.
• Participating in the challenger process by using technical tools to find logical holes or missing evidence in a colleague's work.

Helpful background
We are looking for someone who is technically curious and values the details. You do not need years of professional experience, but you must be comfortable working with data and new technology. Every project we undertake has two names on it: one person who builds the artifact and one person whose sole job is to argue against what was built. As an AI Tools Associate, you will often act as a technical resource for both the builder and the challenger, providing the data evidence needed to prove or disprove a theory.
We prioritize deep work and written documentation. We do not have meetings that were not scheduled well in advance, and we avoid the constant interruptions common in typical office environments. This is a fully remote role where your performance is measured by the quality of your output and the strength of your logic.
