As a Full-Stack AI Developer / Forward Deployed Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of consulting and engineering—working directly with clients to shape, build, and deploy cutting-edge AI applications. You will play a key role from early discovery through to production, ensuring solutions are scalable, robust, and deliver measurable impact.

Your role

You will combine hands-on development expertise with client-facing consulting skills, helping translate business challenges into production-ready AI systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end AI-driven applications
• Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and APIs for AI systems
• Developing advanced models, RAG architectures, and AI agents
• Implementing production-grade solutions with strong focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability
• Working directly with clients to:
• Understand business needs
• Prototype and iterate quickly
• Deliver solutions in real-world environments
• Driving best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and AI lifecycle management
• Contributing to architecture decisions across cloud, data, and application layers
• Supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence of deployed solutions

Tech environment

You will work with modern technologies, including:

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / Terraform), Docker
• Backend: Python (FastAPI), API development
• Frontend: JavaScript / TypeScript, React
• AI/ML:
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• LLM-based solutions
• Agent development
• Azure AI Foundry
• DevOps: CI/CD, monitoring, and automation pipelines

We’re looking for someone who:

• 1-4 years of experience within Full-Stack Development / AI Engineering
• Has experience in full-stack development, ideally combined with AI/ML projects
• Brings consulting skills and enjoys working closely with clients
• Is comfortable moving between strategy, prototyping, and production deployment
• Has experience building scalable and maintainable systems in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Understands how to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Is hands-on with modern development practices (APIs, microservices, DevOps)
• Has experience or interest in LLMs, RAG systems, and AI agent frameworks
• Communicates effectively in Norwegian and English
