Machine Learning Engineer

We're Hiring: Machine Learning Engineer (AI Department)

UzRailways is looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI Department and help build the next generation of AI-powered solutions.

Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Based on interview results and experience

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and scale LLM-powered applications
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and retrieval pipelines
• Develop and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines for production
• Build scalable data pipelines and MLOps workflows
• Evaluate, monitor, and optimize model performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Machine Learning or AI
• Experience building RAG applications and retrieval pipelines
• Experience working with vector databases and embeddings
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Data Science fundamentals, including model evaluation
• Experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Postman
• Experience with OpenAI function calling and tool orchestration
• Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and MLOps workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience fine-tuning and serving local or open-source LLMs
• Experience with AI model deployment and inference optimization
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines
