Senior Full Stack Developer with AI Experience | LATAM | Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with AI experience to build and scale production systems that combine modern web applications with intelligent automation. You’ll work across backend services, frontend applications, and AI integrations to solve real operational problems at scale.

This role is for engineers who care about shipping reliable systems, enjoy working across the stack, and use AI as a practical tool to improve workflows—not just as a feature.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications using Node.js, React.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Architect and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs
• Build clean, responsive frontend interfaces that support complex workflows
• Integrate AI capabilities using OpenAI or similar platforms to automate tasks and improve decision-making
• Develop and maintain AI workflows for document processing, classification, and recommendations
• Implement embeddings, retrieval pipelines, and context-aware AI systems
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across frontend and backend
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver user-focused solutions
• Monitor system behavior in production and continuously improve based on real usage
• Contribute to deployment pipelines, testing, and system observability

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack or Software Engineer
• Strong experience with Node.js, React.js, and modern web architectures
• Hands-on experience integrating AI or LLM-based features into real products
• Experience designing APIs, backend services, and scalable systems
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Understanding of embeddings, retrieval systems, or AI-driven workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous environments
• Good communication skills and experience working in distributed teams
• English proficiency required

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and the use of message queuing technologies.
• Skilled in containerization tools like Docker, orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, and continuous integration/continuous deployment workflows.
• Experience with vector databases and RAG-based systems
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as n8n or Zapier
• Background in marketplace, staffing, or operations-heavy platforms
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
