As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing a next-generation manufacturing and energy data platform. Operating in a fully remote capacity with alignment to US Central Time, you will take ownership of robust pipelines that ingest and process high-volume, real-time sensor and IoT data. In this role, you will collaborate closely with distributed operational analytics and predictive maintenance teams. Your technical expertise will directly ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable data assets within an AWS lakehouse architecture, driving critical real-time decision-making and predictive capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines using Spark and Python.
  • Build real-time data ingestion streams to capture continuous sensor and time-series data.
  • Implement and optimize lakehouse table formats to ensure fast query performance.
  • Manage and schedule complex data workflows using orchestration tools to guarantee timely data delivery.
  • Implement automated data quality checks, schema validation, and monitoring frameworks.
