About The Role
We are scaling our AI team and investing in building real-world AI capability. As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced AI Integration Engineer to design and build the infrastructure and AI agents that enables AI-powered solutions to operate within real business environments.
This is a hands-on role focused on integrating and development of AI agents into production systems, building scalable infrastructure, and delivering practical solutions that create measurable business value. You’ll work in a small, highly collaborative engineering team to turn strategic ideas into working products.
Important: This role requires demonstrated professional (commercial) experience delivering systems in real business environments. MLOPS experience and working with Agents in commercial setting will be highly regarded. Candidates with only, self-taught, or side-project experience will not be considered, but we encourage people from startup in series B and C to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Build full-stack infrastructure for AI prototypes and MVPs (backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces)
- Develop APIs and integration layers connecting AI agents with internal systems, databases, and third-party services
- Implement orchestration and communication across multiple AI agents
- Design and deliver scalable, secure systems from prototype through to production
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI solutions
- Build AI agents in collaboration with our Agent engineer
- Debug, optimise, and evolve prototypes into stable, production-ready systems
Essential Experience
- 5+ years of professional (commercial) software engineering experience
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade systems in real business environments
- Strong full-stack development capability
- Strong Python experience, plus JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience building APIs and integrating systems in production
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases (Snowflake highly regarded)
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience working with AI-enabled systems or data engineering pipelines
- MLOPS
- Experience in startup, scale-up, or innovation-driven environments
- Experience with complex system integrations or platform-level engineering
