Indexed description
Launched in Bahrain in 2019, we have since expanded to 6 countries, delivered millions of meals to our customers, and are now expanding our mission of making healthy easy to retail and other verticals.
We're on a noble mission to make healthy easy. We think this is one of the most important problems to tackle in our world today. We have global ambitions - no small thinking here.
About The Calo Fellowship
The Calo Fellowship is a one-year, full-time program designed to give exceptional early-career talent the opportunity to learn by doing.
Whether you've recently graduated from high school or university, this Fellowship is built for people with potential, not necessarily experience. You'll spend a year solving real business problems, building meaningful projects, and learning alongside some of the brightest people at Calo.
This isn't an internship or a job-shadowing program.
You'll be trusted with real ownership from day one.
Throughout the year, you'll experience Calo from multiple perspectives. For the first two weeks of every month, you'll rotate across different teams to understand how the business operates end-to-end. During the second two weeks, you'll focus on your main track, working closely with your Sponsor and Mentor to deliver projects that create lasting impact.
The Fellowship concludes with Showcase Day, where you'll present everything you've built and learned to Calo's leadership team.
About The Role
As a Supply Chain Automation Fellow, you'll join our AI & Automation Track, where you'll help transform how one of the most critical parts of Calo operates.
Our Supply Chain team manages everything behind the scenes, from forecasting and inventory to purchasing and operations. As Calo grows, so does the need to eliminate manual work, improve visibility, and build smarter systems that allow our teams to focus on high-impact decisions.
Your mission is to identify repetitive processes, understand how our supply chain works, and build AI-powered solutions that improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Whether it's automating inventory counting, streamlining ordering workflows, or creating tools that save teams hours of manual work every week, you'll build solutions that become part of how Calo operates.
This isn't about maintaining existing processes.
It's about reimagining them.
What You'll Be Working On
- Identify manual and repetitive processes that can be improved through AI and automation.
- Design and build practical solutions that simplify day-to-day supply chain operations.
- Develop automation tools for inventory management, purchasing workflows, reporting, and operational planning.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Test, improve, and continuously iterate on the systems you build.
- Present your work, insights, and outcomes throughout the Fellowship.
We're looking for builders.
You'll likely be a great fit if you:
- Recently graduated from high school or university.
- Have little or no professional experience but are excited to learn.
- Enjoy solving problems and finding smarter ways of working.
- Are curious about AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Like breaking down complex challenges into practical solutions.
- Learn quickly and enjoy experimenting with new tools.
- Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions.
- Communicate well and enjoy collaborating with different teams.
- Care about quality and continuous improvement.
