Business Intelligence Engineer

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will own the full data lifecycle—from understanding business requirements to sourcing, transforming, modelling, and visualizing data. You will play a key role in building and evolving our modern data platform on Microsoft Fabric, helping drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Build, maintain, and improve ETL/ELT data pipelines and workflows.
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and Power BI reports.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the data platform.
• Optimize existing dashboards, datasets, and reporting processes.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide support to end users.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the evolution of our data architecture and best practices.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to manage projects from concept to delivery.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Python and/or PySpark.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or other cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM – 4PM
