Lead Data Scientist / AI Team Lead

We would like to meet a Lead Data Scientist / AI Team Lead for a project with a hybrid working model in Porto, Portugal (2x/week at the office).

Requirements:

• More than 9 years of experience as a Data Scientist / AI;
• Proven experience in technical leadership and team management.
• Strong expertise in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Solid knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Hands-on experience with data preparation and data quality analysis.
• Strong understanding of statistics, text mining, geolocation analysis, and Big Data.
• Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of data warehouses, datamarts, and data modeling.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 13 Data Science professionals.
• Drive AI adoption and implement best practices.
• Develop Machine Learning and Deep Learning solutions.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to generate business insights.
• Perform data preparation and data quality analysis.
• Build predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
• Create impactful data visualizations and storytelling.
• Translate business needs into Data Science solutions.
• Advise on data sources, datamarts, and data warehouse strategies.
• Benchmark models and drive continuous improvement.
