AI Architect – GenAI & Agentic AI

We are seeking elite AI Architects with a rare combination of deep ML/deep learning engineering roots and a proven transition into Generative AI and Agentic AI at enterprise scale. You will serve as the technical authority and trusted advisor for Fortune 500 manufacturing clients across Europe — designing, architecting, and leading the delivery of transformative AI programs while driving pre-sales engagements from first conversation through to signed contract.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Own end-to-end architecture of large-scale GenAI and Agentic AI platforms — from data ingestion and model selection through to inference, monitoring, and governance

• Design multi-agent orchestration systems (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI) and integrate them into enterprise landscapes (SAP, MES, ERP, SCADA)

• Define reference architectures on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock), Azure (AI Foundry, OpenAI Service), and GCP (Vertex AI) tailored to manufacturing use cases

• Establish AI engineering best practices: RAG pipelines, vector databases, model evaluation, prompt governance, and responsible AI guardrails

• Lead technical delivery teams (10–20+ engineers/data scientists) with clear design authority and architectural decision records

Pre-Sales & Client Advisory

• Lead technical pre-sales engagements from discovery through RFP response, including solution design, effort estimation, and executive presentations

• Present AI solution architectures and business cases confidently to CTO, CIO, CDO, VP Engineering, and plant/operations leadership

• Co-create proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable business value — OEE uplift, defect reduction, scrap rate, energy efficiency, supply chain optimization

• Build trusted advisor relationships with client architects and IT leadership across Europe

Manufacturing Domain Impact

• Apply AI to core manufacturing challenges: predictive maintenance, quality 4.0, computer vision inspection, demand forecasting, Fortran/legacy modernization

• Bridge OT and IT — understanding shopfloor realities (PLC, SCADA, historian data) while designing cloud-native AI solutions

• Collaborate with sustainability, HSE, and supply chain stakeholders to scope AI use cases with tangible ROI

WHAT YOU BRING

Non-negotiable – Proven Experience

• 10+ years in AI/ML engineering or architecture; minimum 5 years hands-on ML/deep learning (model design, training pipelines, production deployment)

• Demonstrable transition into GenAI and Agentic AI: delivered LLM-powered production systems, not just prototypes

• Delivered large-scale AI programs to Fortune 50 / Global 500 manufacturing clients — reference-able outcomes

• Pre-sales experience: shaped and won AI consulting engagements >$1M; comfortable owning technical proposals and statements of work

• Strong executive communication: presented architecture and ROI narratives to C-suite audiences
