Head of Data/Analytics/ML

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric and Azure, including ingestion, medallion/lakehouse architecture, and governed data products.
• Lead data governance, data stewardship, and data provisioning to deliver trusted, decision-grade data to finance, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Build and mature the analytics and self-service layer (Power BI), enabling business teams to use governed data for reporting and insights.
• Drive high-impact machine learning and AI use cases (forecasting, yield optimization, pricing/margin, inventory and capacity planning, operational efficiency).
• Operate as a strategic and hands-on leader, setting a 2–3 year roadmap while being in the weeds on architecture, data modeling, and early solutions in a lean team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise data, analytics, or AI roles, including ownership of a modern cloud data platform.
• Strong, recent experience with Azure-based data stacks; Microsoft Fabric experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record building governed data platforms (lakehouse/medallion), data products, and self-service analytics for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience delivering ML/AI solutions tied to clear business outcomes (e.g., forecasting, optimization, pricing, or supply chain).
• Experience operating in regulated or complex environments with robust data governance and stewardship expectations.
