Senior Data Scientist

In this role, you will design and deliver advanced Generative AI solutions that solve complex business problems using modern AI techniques. You will join SoftServe’s AI & Data Science Center of Excellence, working on global projects that combine research, engineering, and real-world deployment while contributing to the evolution of AI-driven products and services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Generative AI and NLP solutions using transformer-based architectures and modern deep learning techniques
• Own the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, from data analysis and experimentation to production deployment and optimization
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate models into scalable cloud-based systems
• Develop LLM-based applications such as intelligent assistants, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and content generation tools
• Analyze large and complex datasets, selecting appropriate algorithms, frameworks, and tools for each use case
• Build and operationalize machine learning models, including data preparation, experiment design, evaluation, and monitoring
• Present technical solutions and insights to stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear business outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and innovation within AI and Data Science projects

• Strong experience with Generative AI and NLP, including large-scale language models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar
• Solid knowledge of transformer architectures and diffusion models for text and image generation
• Hands-on experience with Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Practical understanding of machine learning lifecycle, including experimentation, evaluation, and production deployment
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI solution deployment
• Academic background with a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven ability to apply advanced deep learning techniques to real-world business problems
• Clear communication skills for presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to communicate professionally in English at an upper-intermediate business level
