We recently announced our $4M pre-seed round and are building a small, extremely talent-dense team with people from companies like Spotify, Klarna and King.

AI is not a feature added on top of Fika Jobs. It is at the centre of how the product works.

The role

We are looking for an AI Engineer who wants to build real AI products used by real people.

You will work on some of our hardest and most important problems: AI conversations, candidate understanding, profile generation, evaluation, search, ranking and matching.

This is not a research-only role. We care about turning AI into product experiences that are useful, reliable and delightful. You will go from messy real-world problems to systems that create value for candidates and companies every day.

• Turn messy real-world problems into reliable product experiences
• Work across LLMs, agents, retrieval, evals and production systems
• Help define what AI-native hiring should feel like

• You are an exceptional engineer with strong applied AI judgment
• You have extremely high agency and take ownership from idea to production
• You care about product quality as much as model quality
• You think clearly about reliability, evaluation and edge cases
• You want to build AI that changes how people find work

Tech stack

Today, we work with Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL and modern AI models.

You do not need to have used our exact stack before. We care more about strong engineering ability, applied AI judgment, product taste and your ability to learn quickly and build real systems.
