Corafone is hiring their Founding AI Engineer, and this role is truly unique.

The debt collection industry is still mired in technical debt, manual processes, and disjointed consumer journeys. And no one has solved it yet, despite managing billions in unpaid invoices every year and millions of consumers' personal finances.

Corafone is reshaping the industry by deploying state-of-the-art AI voice agents on behalf of our clients in the US. We are building a full-stack AI-native company in the debt collection industry and thereby using the technology we develop ourselves.

What you'll do

• Build and own AI voice agents that conduct calls, payments and abide by guidelines
• Plan and build foundational system architecture
• Work closely with clients in an industry where trust is everything
• Be part of important strategical technical decisions

Who you are

• Experienced fullstack developer (typescript) with strong intuition for system design
• Proven experience building AI-agents or LLMs in production
• Previous experience of understanding and solving clients problems preferably with AI
• You want to build something big, and not just a regular 9-5 job
• You care as much about the outcome as how it is solved
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
